BIBLICAL COUNSELING SEMINAR

The Biblical Counseling Seminar by Hope for the Heart was conducted during 21-22 March 2011 in Chennai. Fifty Church leaders and pastors from Tamil Nadu, Andhara Pradesh, and Karnataka attended.

Mr. Phil Prather, Director, Int'l Ministries, Hope For Heart, USA and Ms. Sri Latha, Master trainer, were the resource persons for the two day training.

A variety of topics from everyday life that would need counseling were handled with practical tips on how to counsel. Counseling case-study sessions (with 'Counselor and Counselee' role plays) on different topics including ‘Dealing with ANGER’ were conducted. All participants were motivated to use such counseling techniques in their / ministry.

Sets of counseling books with a variety of topics published were made available for the delegates at subsidized prices. Many of them carried these resources along with them.

CHILDREN'S BIBLE SCHOOL TEACHER TRAININGS

CBS Teacher's trainings were held at cities and towns across Tamil Nadu. More than 2000 teachers have been trained and equipped for the CBS classes this summer.
